QuikVue Vet Case Study—Immune-Mediated Keratitis

03/25/25

We are glad to share a vet case study captured by QuikVue eye imaging adaptor from Dr.Allison Fuchs.

Progress updates! This young dog was initially seen just 2 weeks ago due to progressive corneal cloudiness and squinting. At the time, he had incredibly severe corneal inflammation in both eyes, consistent with a form of immune mediated keratitis where the body decides the ocular surface is foreign and attacks. The left eye had also developed a very deep ulcer. You can see what a difference we’ve made in just 2 weeks of treatment! He will continue on topical immunosuppressants (Tacrolimus) and I bet in another 3-4 weeks he’s going to look amazing!
