QuikVue Vet Case Study—Corneal Ulcers and Dry Eye

02/12/25

We are glad to share a vet case study captured by QuikVue eye imaging adaptor from Dr.Allison Fuchs.

Another fantastic medical before and after! This little Shih Tzu was previously treated for an indolent corneal ulcer, which healed months ago, and has been undergoing treatment for dry eye. Her owner immediately noticed something wasn’t right when she started squinting and we started aggressive medical therapy over a weekend with the plan to go to surgery if needed. Fortunately she responded beautifully and while she still has some scarring and corneal remodeling to do, she is all healed!
